Pro Stalker of the Monarchies.

Although it may seem [Very much so;;;] that I’m only all for England’s monarchy, I really do love other monarchies too! Grace Kelly is one of my favorite Royals, along with the House of Monaco. There is no question to me, seeing that picture of why Rainier fell in love with her.

Oh dear, I’m sorry for the video spamming! Just a few more, I promise.

Simply adorable!

If all the women of the world looked like Kate, we’d all be taken by a Prince!

I don’t care what anyone says about Sarah, the previous Duchess of York. She’s one of my favorite Royals [Or should I say, now ex-royal?]. This is one of my favorite pictures of her ^^.

The Regency saw a turn for things much more natural. The colors were generally less garish, and there was a focus on simpler form. There was also a shift from accent in the form of ornamentation to accent in the form of exaggeration—ridiculously high waists, bulbous shoulders, unnecessary amounts of buttons, the “hourglass” figure. The use of stockings and breeches began to decline after the French Revolution in favor of long, close-cut trousers.

January 30th - On this day, 363 years ago, King Charles I became the first British monarch to be executed for treason.
After a delay to his execution due to the executioner refusing to kill the King, Charles was led to the scaffold which was covered in black cloth. He had been permitted to wear thick underclothes as he was concerned that if he shivered in the cold, the crowd might think he was afraid.
The aftermath of his death led to the abolition of the monarch for eleven years, until Charles II returned to become King in 1660. He had those who had signed his father’s death warrant tried as regicides and executed.
